Today I wanted to share the products that I’ll be playing with in October and (hopefully!) getting a review out on them soon. Let me know if you’re especially curious about anything you see and I’ll try to prioritize getting a review out on them!
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer: I haven’t had much testing time with this primer, but the fact that it’s supposed to help minimize the look of pores is definitely something I’m interested in trying!
Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation: I’ve heard decent things about this foundation & I’ve gotten the chance to wear it a few times, but it’s been a while since I’ve really worn a full face so I want to see what I think for sure.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereyes Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer: At this point, I’ve gathered almost all of my thoughts on this concealer & just need to share them – so be on the lookout!
BareMinerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil: I’ve used this powder quite a bit, but I still haven’t really figured out what I think of it – but then again it’s pretty hard to gather solid thoughts on a translucent pressed powder, especially when you haven’t worn makeup in a while.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray: Despite not having used this much at all, my bottle is almost gone – someone must have been playing in it. I hope I have enough to decide if I feel like this really does anything for my makeup longevity & I’ll report back to y’all!
CoverFX Perfector Face Palette: This palette is my go to for blush, bronzer, and highlight right now! Since I’m trying to use the BareMinerals powder, I’m skipping the face powder shade right now. I have some thoughts, but definitely not enough to share yet!
CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops “Moonlight”: I’ve been playing with these drops for a while now and honestly I’m pretty confident in how I feel, but I’m just going to try them a few more times to be competely sure – you should see a review soon! Also, total coincidence that both of my cheek products this month were from CoverFX.
Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Primer: I’ve been using this as my go-to primer for a pretty long time. I’m not sure if I’ll ever actually write a review on it, but I have a pretty good idea of how it works, so that’s good!
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette: I feel like I’ve been trying this palette out for months at this point, but I really want to make sure I try every shade thoroughly before sharing my thoughts! At this point, it’ll probably be completely discontinued before I get my review up.
Nyx Cosmetics On the Rise Volume Mascara: I’ve had this open for a long time now (not expired long – just a long time to have not done a review yet!), so I need to get my butt in gear on figuring out my full thoughts. I will say I did enjoy it the first few times I tried it out!
Benefit Gimme Brow: I really need to wear this more – I’d love to be able to share what I think about Benefit’s brow products considering how hyped up they are. I think the shade I have is a little too dark for me, since it makes my brows look black when I don’t have black hair, but it works!
theBalm theBalmJour Creamy Lip Stain “Namaste”: I have basically gathered all my thoughts of this lipstick at this point; no spoilers, though! Stay tuned later this month for my full review.
Jolii Cosmetics Luxe Creme Matte Lipstick “Focoso”: This hasn’t been worn a single time yet, so I have no thoughts on whether I like it or not. However, I do think that the color is perfect for this season!
Physician’s Formula The Healthy Lip Velvet Finish “Berry Healthy”: I’ve worn this lipstick a few times now, but I don’t really feel like I have my thoughts together on it so there will definitely be some more wear. However, expect to see a review coming soon!
Colourpop X IluvSarahii Ultra Glossy Lip “Curvii”: Another lip product that I’ve worn a few times, but I definitely don’t have my full thoughts together on it. It’s definitely nice to at least have a gloss option among all the liquid lipsticks from this month!
